2Baba, Davido Other Stars Set To March Against Buhari’s Policies
Nigerian Hip-Hop star, Innocent Idibia popularly known by his stage name as 2baba is unwavering with his planned march against President Muhammadu Buhari’s anti-masses policies.
He took to his Instagram page on Friday to express his readiness, supported by other star like Davido to protest against the Federal Government on February 5.
He said that Nigerians were tired of policies that would not solve their problems but instead inflicting more pains of the masses.
He said enough is enough as he alleged the executive, legislative and judiciary arms of government of insincerity to address the current economic downturn.
According to him, the three arms have continued to get full salaries while ordinary Nigerian workers are not being paid.
The minimum wage still stands at N18, 000 despite the clamour by the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC for an increment.
TuBaba said, “There is a call for urgent explanation into the reckless economic downturn nationwide. “A call for nationwide protests as we say No to the Executive, No to legislatures, No to judiciary… You have all failed us.”
He challenged the government to provide the detail record of how much looted funds it had been able to recovered and put back into the fallen economy.
He queried the government why it had not been able to solve the problem in Niger Delta and the killings by the Fulani herdsmen in some parts of the country.
“We the people are tired. We can no longer continue with all of you. All your excuses and mistakes are not funny. We do not wish to continue with a system and government that is not working but afflicting the people,” he said.
