2baba Plans To Go Ahead With Nationwide Protest
Music superstar, Innocent Ujah Idibia popularly known as 2baba has vowed to go ahead with his planned nationwide protest against the federal government in-spite of the number of voices who have joined to condemn his stance and impending action.
He stated that all plans will go on without any hindrance as he will look to use the protest to tell Nigerian leaders the need to connect with the people.
This was contained in a part of a Facebook live video yesterday Tuesday which he recorded in a bid to encourage his fans that he wont back down despite calls to the contrary.
A number of public and political officials have been locked in a debate over the protest action with interviews flying around in support and also against it.
Governor Ayodele Fayose is the latest high ranked political official who has come out to support 2baba’s protest with a series of tweets.
In the video, the musician states, “I will no longer be quiet. I’m just a musician with a point of view and the ear of my fans. I have dedicated my time and resources to peace building, voter education towards peaceful elections and youth engagement in governance in Nigeria. This march is about demanding that our leaders connect with all the people of Nigeria.”
