A week ago, INEC presented the certificates of return to the Lagos State Governor-elect, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the state Deputy governor-elect,

This show of certificates of return extends beyond Lagos. The senator-elect in Ekiti Central Senatorial District, Opeyemi Bamidele was also in Lagos to present his certificate to Tinubu.
The Ogun State Governor-Elect, Dapo Abiodun has performed the same duty. To them, this exercise shows loyalty. Besides the presentation of certificates, many of these politicians have made it a point of duty to visit Bourdillon to take instruction, including Lagos APC CHiarma, Tunde Balogun.
They all pay thank you visit. Tinubu is busier now on how to ensure the election of Senator Ahmad Lawan as the next Senate President and Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as the next Speaker, House of Representatives.
He will need more loyal federal lawmakers to actualize this dream. The loyalty goes beyond the show of certificate of return. At a time Senator Ali Ndume has refused to drop his ambition for Senate presidency, Tinubu is poised that the only people that could help him install Lawan are those he had helped to secure tickets to the red and green chambers.
