Lagos State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode has promised to deliver landmark projects in major sectors of the economy in 2018.
He said this in a statement, signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Habib Aruna, adding that the state would complete some projects and embark on new ones in the New Year.
“The commencement and realisation of some of our reform programmes especially in the Public Transport, Tourism, Environment and Health sectors will transform the landscape of the State,” he said.
He noted that the state’s 2018 budget of N1.046trillion will be implemented to complete pending projects and do other ones in the New Year.
The governor mentioned the reconstruction of the Oshodi International Airport Road, the Oshodi Transport Interchange, Pen Cinema Flyover, 181 Local Government Roads and another network of roads as part of the projects that would be completed in the New Year.
