Buhari ‘Jubril’ And Kanu’s Hand Waving Hypothesis
Nigeria News takes a look at the IPOB leader’s assertion on President Muhammadu Buhari’s wave of hands.
I have waited till yesterday to see if President Muhammadu Buhari will wave on the stage at the Uyo, Akwa Ibom State campaign by the All Progressives Congress.
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu had earlier posited that a Jubril of Sudan was a mere impostor of a Buhari and one of the best ways to notice this is his inability to publicly wave to the crowd of the party supporters while on the stage.
Kanu in his last broadcast on Radio Biafra asked Nigerians to be observant as the impostor would not be able to wave his hands at the Uyo mega rally of the All Progressives Congress.
The IPOB leader also said that President Muhammadu Buhari would not even bother to show up at the rally because he was Jubril and would easily be identified by the crowd.
Kanu wanted Nigerians to check the ears of the impostor. These are some of the evidences provided by the IPOB leader who also accused journalists of Yoruba ethnic nationality of not seeing from his own angle that Mr President is now a Jubril of Sudan.
Buhari once carpeted those taunting him as Jubril of Sudan as uneducated and uncivilized, saying he was never cloned and that he would Mark his 76th birthday for them to see him clearly.
Since he marked his birthday, only a few of his critics are still basking on the allegation of impostor. Not until Kanu raised the alarm again that his claim was not about cloning but that of impostor.
Kanu noted that Jubril was the man who presented the 2019 appropriation Bill before the joint National Assembly and that he refused to wave so that people would not notice him.
It will be recalled that President Buhari only showed eight fingers to signify his second term coming at the senate chamber when he presented the budget proposal but Kanu said that the “Jubril” did so to cover the marks in his palms.
But on Friday, Buhari showed up in Uyo. He came in quietly and was ushered to the podium by the crowd of APC supporters, led by their National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.
However, Buhari did not wave on the stage, confirming Kanu’s assertion. But the president speech was laced with Fulfulde, the Fulani accent to show that he is Buhari not Jubril.
What implication is Buhari’s failure or refusal to wave his hands has on Nigeria?
Is it just to discredit Buhari as a deceiver or to show that Kanu’s claim is genuine?
Let us agree that Buhari Is Jubril even though he has denied such, Kanu and others should go beyond accusation but provide at least one Sudanese who can corroborate their claim.
As a matter of fact, Kanu should convince the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar that Buhari Is Jubril and that they should expose the impostor.
Of course, Buhari has not done enough to merit a second term but the accusation of him being a Jubril of Sudan is laughable and makes a
A close contact with Buhari, according to sources reveal that the allegation of impostor was a mere imagination of the president’s critics.
Castigating Yoruba ethnic group and by extension, the journalists from the southwest should not be the way for Kanu. The IPOB leader is expected to provide empirical and scientific evidence to justify his claim, not by untenable pieces of evidence that had been thrown into the
The Yoruba ethnic group is the most sophisticated and would not propagate fake news as being done elsewhere, even if it would not support Buhari.
True be told that not all Yoruba journalists want Buhari to win in 2019 but their sense of professionalism would never make them descend so low in joining the bandwagon journalism that peddles fake news as Kanu wants them to do.
