Buhari’s Health And Fayose’s Garbage of Lies
Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose through the eyes of the Nigeria News.
Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose speaks like a seer even when he has no facts to back his claims about President Muhammadu Buhari’s health status.
He said that he would soon release to the public, pictures depicting the ailing President Muhammadu Buhari inability to recognize anybody on a sick bed in London hospital.
Fayose challenged Acting President Yemi Osinbajo to produce pictures of his meeting with Buhari in London or else he would provide at least six pictures of Buhari on life support machine.
Even when Osinbajo took time to narrate his over one hour meeting with Buhari, the Ekiti State Governor described the meeting as lies and an attempt to divert the attention of Nigerians from the crucial problem of economic recession that the present administration had failed to address.
This is not the first time Fayose had attacked Buhari, the governor kicked vehemently against the election of the president to the extent that he did a paid advertorial about the age and the failing health of Buhari in a national newspaper during the campaign for 2015 presidential election.
Though he was widely criticized for doing so, Fayose had refused to stop but rather, his criticism of Buhari had been gathering momentum.
At a time, the governor alleged that the president’s wife, Aisha Buhari was involved in Halliburton bribery Scandal but his claimed was found to be untrue.
The first lady had to sue him for libel and defamation of character but the governor would not stop, he perpetually stood a lone voice criticizing the Buharis.
However on Sunday, four APC State governors visited Buhari in London and the first thing they did was to take a photograph with the president while they were having lunch with him.
The governors include Mallam Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa; Rocha Okorocha of Imo State and Yahaya Bello of Kogi.
Also in the delegation was the National Chairman of APC Chief John Oyegun and the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi. They represented the body of governors as delegated in their last meeting with the National Working Committee of the party in Abuja.
Speaking on behalf of the delegates, Okorocha described the mood of the president as excited, adding that Buhari would soon journey back to Nigeria to perform his duty.
According to him, the president is in better shape and his chat with the delegation shows that he knows everything that is going on back home.
He said, “President Buhari asked each one us what we have been doing to improve the lives of people in our states. He is very concerned about the welfare of ordinary Nigerians.”
Asked how he has been taken the negative stories about his health by some Nigerians, especially from members of the opposition party, Buhari said he did not allow that to bother him as his focus is about how Nigeria would be better.
Okorocha said that the president would be back as soon as his doctor give him go ahead to return to Nigeria, adding, “As for now, the president is okay but only waiting for doctor’s advice.
Now that the governors had visited the president and came up with pictures during a lunch with Buhari, Nigerians have begun to describe Fayose as merchant of lies.
Buhari’s allies, however challenged Fayose to produce his own pictures where the president is on life support machine.
