CRISTIANO RONALDO SET TO MISS START OF SEASON WITH INJURY

Fans of Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo have reason to fear the worst as it has been confirmed that the star has sprained his medial collateral ligament in his left knee.

Although reports are a bit conflicting at this time which is normal whenever injuries of this sort are the case, it is expected that he will be out for between 2-3 months.

Further scans will determine the exact length of time he will be out for but it is safe to say that he will not be partaking in active pre-season with his team mates when they head to the United States.

He will also not be expected to be fit in time for the UEFA super cup match with Sevilla.

Ronaldo suffered the injury when he clashed with Dimitri Payet during the finals of the European Championships and had to be taken off after just 25 minutes.

The incident caused a stir worldwide with the star’s mother posting a tweet pic of her son in tears on the field and saying that the ball should be kicked and not the player in a sort of thinly veiled dig at Payet.

Ah! It will affect real madrid o! They should better go all out and buy key players during the transfer window. If it was messi that got injured, he won’t be missed! Barca will survive COMFORTABLY! But real madrid can’t because THE GREATEST FOOTBALLER OF ALL TIME (King Cr7) is the one carrying them
