The vital away goal was enough for Mourinho as he hailed his boys for a wonderful performance in far away Russia.
The major shocker of the night had to be Lyons match against AS Roma with the home side proving too much for the Italian team as they demolished them by 4 goals to 2 as striker Lacazette scored a beautiful goal to crown their efforts.
Belgium also proved to be the highlight of the night as the match between KAA Gent and KRC Gnk ended as Gent lost at home by 2-5 almost effectively putting one leg in the quarterfinals.
