Evans, Kidnap Kingpin ‘Chukwudidumeme Onwuamadike’ Pleads Guilty
The kidnap kingpin, Chukwudidumeme Onwuamadike popularly called Evans has pleaded guilty before Lagos High Court Ikeja on two count charge bordering on kidnapping.
He was arraigned by the police before the court alongside his five accomplices early this morning.
On Tuesday, the Lagos State Government said that it would arraign the notorious and the most dreadful kidnapper in Nigeria recently.
The government eventually did so at about 10 am.
Meanwhile the Federal High Court, Lagos could not give judgment on the N300 million suit Evans filed against the police over infringement on his fundamental human rights.
Evans has been in the custody of the police since his arrest a few months ago. Though it was reported that the kidnap kingpin had escaped but the police refuted the report.
He was arrested in his Magodo mansion after years of perpetrating evil. He confessed to killing some of his captives and exchanged many for ransom.
Investigation revealed that he had properties in Ghana and had one time been declared wanted by the South African Government over various crime.
