Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation has disclosed why over 150 police officers ran away from their counter-insurgency training exercise in the northeast, Nigeria.
The former Minister, writing on his Twitter Page said the officers ran away because 88% were southerners and 91% were Christian.
Femi Fani-Kayode stated, “Out of the 167 “runaway policemen” that were assigned to fight Boko Haram, 91% were Christian and 88% were southerners. Can you blame them for running?
“No matter how many Christmas carols he sings, Buhari’s ethnic and religious agenda is becoming more obvious by the day,” Femi Fani-Kayode stated.
Nevertheless, the Nigerian military has provided a clear explanation on a news report that more than 150 among the 2000 Policemen deployed to fight Boko Haram insurgents in the North East, ran away from their counter-insurgency military training exercise.
