Fayemi Will Suffer Worst Defeat of His Life – Fayose
The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has said that the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Dr Kayode Fayemi will suffer the worst defeat in his political career on July 14.
Fayose said this while reacting to the victory of Fayemi at the APC governorship primaries held in Ekiti on Saturday.
He said, “Fayemi, don’t rejoice yet because you are going to suffer the worst defeat of your life on July 14 governorship election against the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate, Professor Kolapo Olusola-Eleka.”
Fayose said that he was able to defeat Fayemi about four years ago with 16-0 and would be ready to repeat the same feat on July 14.
Fayemi who is presently the Minister of Mines and Steel Developments won the APC primary on Saturday and would be contesting against Olusola-Eleka of PDP.
But to Fayose, the minister who happened to have been the immediate past governor would bite the dust on July 14 because there would be no room for him to rig the election.
He said that Fayemi’s victory on Saturday had only positioned him for his worse defeat in the hands of the PDP, adding, “I have served the Ekiti people and all the works that I have done are visible. Fayemi is going into political oblivion.”
