Five Dead As Female Suicide Bombers Attack IDPs Camp In Borno
Five persons have been reportedly killed when a female suicide bomber sneaked into the Internally Displaced Persons’ Camp in Dalori, Borno State.
The Borno State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) made this known late Wednesday, adding that the 39 others sustained various degrees of injuries in the attack.
Speaking to our correspondent, the SEMA’s Chairman, Satomi Ahmad, said that the female suicide bomber infiltrated the IDPs camp and detonated an explosive.
As he put it, “six persons died instantly, including the bomber while about 39 people were injured. It was an improvised explosive, which was denoted just at the entrance of the camp where there were scores of people.”
He told our correspondent that the injured had been taken to hospitals for treatment while the carcasses of those blown to death had since been packed and disposed of.
The Nigerian Army embarked on the construction of roads in Sambisa Forest as many of the Boko Haram members had been chased out.
It was gathered that some of them had since become suicide bombers moving around to kill innocent souls.
