Former Chocolate City Boss, Audu Maikori Collapses At Public Event in Lagos
Founder of chocolate city, Audu Maikori, on Tuesday evening at the 2017 Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) conference holding at the Muson Center in Lagos, collapsed while he was greeting some participants.
Doctors at the venue now revived him before he was taken to St Nicholas Hospital where he was given further treatment.
An associate of the entertainment entrepreneur confirmed the incident to the press where he stated that “Audu slumped at the event and was rushed to the hospital. But he is okay now and is recovering well.”
The associate who is close to Audu, Ayide-Israel said he didn’t know what was wrong with Audu after he was pressed for a reply to what was wrong with the former chocolate city boss.
Audu is said to have collapsed after he moderated a question-and-answer session with MO Abudu the C.E.O. of Ebony Life and was taking pictures with some fans.
Recall that Audu was released from detention a day after he was arrested by the DSS for inciting comments he made concerning killings in Kaduna.
