The Peoples Democratic Party has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to learn from the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo how he did it one year to improve his country’s economy.
The National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan gave this advice in a press statement made available to our correspondent on Thursday.
The party said that unlike Akufo-Addo, the Nigeria President Buhari did not make any significant improvement on the economy.
It said that the years of the All Progressives Congress, APC at the helm of affairs in Nigeria had been marred with bloodletting and various attacks by herdsmen and Boko Haram.
The PDP stated that it was disheartening that Buhari could reel out Akufo-Addo’s one-year achievement and could not mention single one the Federal Government under his leadership had done for Nigeria.
The statement noted that the Buhari’s administration is laced with various corruption allegation and yet the president had failed to address it.
Rather, it noted that Buhari went as far as selling himself as a model of anti-corruption in Ghana. “Ghana, under Akufo-Addo, has dealt with corruption.
This is what Buhari should learn instead of selling himself as an anti-corruption crusader.
