I have always had this experience wherever I go and people are like “How old are you”, then I tell them my age, they be like “No way… You look way younger!”.And then questions like – “What cream do you use? What makeup do you have on” etc. And I just keep smiling. Oh yeah!

Now don’t get jealous sister girl… Because I am about to let you in on some of my secrets *wink wink*. Just relax, read and practice the tips below.

Now cream/moisturizers has it’s own wonders to your skin’s glow, but it doesn’t just end there. You have a whole lot more to do in order to keep that glow on.

Here is a very important tip I want for drop before going further. It is not advisable to apply different kinds of products on your face or skin all at the same time, just to get rid of or treat a particular skin problem.

Using these products all at once, has it’s own way of causing more damage to our skin. You buy a certain product in a beauty store and not up to 1week you started using it, a friend comes in and tells you of a particular product she’s using and how magically it works on her, and then you see yourself buying the product and tossing the one you started using just last week. You need to give your face a break!

These products have certain ingredients in them, which when mixed or combined, doesn’t react well with your skin. In the end, you either aggravate your skin problem or a different one springs up entirely.

Now here are some DOs and DON’Ts you should follow in order to achieve a young, healthy and radiant skin.

1. Drink lots of water, at least 10-12 glasses per day. Water helps clear the toxins that causes inflammation and blemishes.

2. Do eat lots of fruits and fresh veggie – Pineapple, Cucumber, Water melon, Spinach and Brocolli have a high concentration of H2O and Vitamin C. You know when you are the busy and on-the-go kinda girl, and barely have time to sit and eat fruits, you can try juicing. Make a blend of your favourite fruits and put in a bottle, then you’re good to go!frt3. Try not to stress yourself out during the day and ensure to get enough sleep, atleast 6 – 8 hours every night. Sleep deprivation lowers your blood circulation, making you look pale and washed. Do get yourself a beauty sleep!

4. Avoid contact with the sun, and if you must at all, always use a sunscreen (eg SPF 15). It is the easiest way to keep looking young, prevent wrinkling and also helps to reduce the damage and redness caused from sun exposure.

5. Cut out sugar and alcohol intake for a few days, at least 5 – 7days.

6. Apply serum to your partly dry skin after shower before putting on your moisturizer. You can also pour a certain amount of the serum into your moisturizer and mix properly, before applying to your skin, whichever method works for you.

7. Clean your makeup brushes, every 2 – 3weeks. This helps to reduce your level of breakouts by eliminating the dirt and bacteria on the brushes.

8. Go less on the fatty and carbohydrate diets. Concentrate more on lean protein like fish, beans, eggs and chicken, to keep your skin cells revved up and revitalized.

9. Do exercise regularly. Running, jogging and cycling gives your body the necessary blood circulation.

10. Tomatoes are very powerful anti-oxidants, as it helps balance the skin and get rid of excessive oil. Slice or smash two large tomatoes and apply evenly on your face. Rinse of after about 20 – 30 minutes with cold water. Repeat this 3 times a week, to achieve a wrinkle-free skin.tomt
