ISLAMIC STATE (IS) CLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY FOR NICE CARNAGE

Terrorist group headquartered in Syria, Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for the truck massacre in which over 90 people lost their lives.

The killer who has been identified as 31-year-old Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel, smashed a 19-tonne truck into a group of people who were celebrating France’s Bastille Day in the Riviera city of Nice.

An IS source is quoted to have said that Mohammed is one of their many soldiers who has heeded the call to attack countries who are part of the coalition against IS.

The wife of the driver who migrated from Tunisia to France is being held by the French police authorities as well as four men who are linked to him.
