KADUNA STATE TO INSTALL CCTV’s TO FIGHT CRIME – Col. Yakubu Yusufu Soja

The Kaduna state government has resolved to install closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras across the state to tackle crime.

This was disclosed during a press conference to mark the first year anniversary of the administration of Gov. Nasir El-Rufai.

The disclosure was made by Col. Yakubu Yusufu Soja the coordinator of the state security outfit code-named, “Operation Yaki”. He stated that preparations for the CCTV’s have reached an advanced stage and would be operational very soon.

He also stated that the state government had gone as far as also procuring drones to assist in the fight against crime and that all state security bodies will be well trained on how to use these equipment to the optimal capacity.
