Kindly Rescue Me From Boko Haram, Leah Sharibu Urges Buhari
Leah Sharibu, the pupil of the Government Girls Science and Technical College, abducted by the Boko Haram has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to rescue her from the captivity of the terrorists.
In 35 seconds audio released by the girl on Monday, Sharibu said she could not bear the pains anymore as he called on the Federal Government to do all within its capacity and set her free from Boko Haram.
Sharibu was among the 110 girls abducted by Boko Haram in Dapchi. The Boko Haram refused to release Sharibu with the other 104 girls because she refused to renounce her Christian religion.
Five of the girls died in the custody of the terrorists while 104 were released to the Department of State Service.
Speaking via the 35 seconds audio, Sharibu said, “My name is Leah Sharibu, the GGSC student that was abducted by Boko Haram. I’m calling on the Federal Government and well-meaning Nigerians to rescue me from this situation.”
She said, “Kindly help me out of my predicament. I am begging you to treat me with compassion. I am calling on the government, particularly the President to pity me and get me out of this serious situation. Thank you.”
