Leah Will Be Released Soon – Pastor Adeboye Prays For The Dapchi Girl
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (Worldwide), Pastor Enoch Adeboye has said that the only Christian Dapchi girl, Leah Sharibu in the custody of the Boko Haram insurgents will be released soon.
He prayed for Sharibu who was captured alongside 109 other pupils of the Government Girls’ Technical and Science College, Dapchi, Yobe by the terrorist group on February 19.
Last Wednesday the Boko Haram released 104 out of the 110 students abducted. Five of them had died while Sharibu was not released because she refused to renounce her Christian faith.
Writing on his Facebook and Twitter pages on Friday, Adeboye said, “Lord, we ask that you visit the camp of the (Boko Haram) captors and, in a way that You alone can, see to the safe release and return of the missing girl, Leah Sharibu, in Jesus’ name.”
Earlier on Friday, President Muhammadu Buhari had promised that the government would not relent until Sharibu is released safe and sound.
He also won politicians and religious leaders to be careful about their utterances on the abduction and the release of the Dapchi Girls.
