Mamora, Ibeto Makes Buhari Ambassadorial List

The former Speaker Lagos State House, Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora and former Deputy Governor of Niger State, Ahmed Ibeto are on the list of President Muhammadu Buhari’s ambassadors sent to the senate.

This was contained in a letter signed by the president to the senate on Thursday.
There were 46 names of non-career ambassadorial nominees on the list to be confirmed and approved by the senate.

Reading the names at the red chamber on Thursday, the senate president Bukola Saraki mentioned among other names the retired Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice George Oguntade (Lagos State); former senator from Lagos state, Olorunnimbe Mamora, former Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Mrs. Paulen Tallen (Plateau State); former member of the House of Representatives, Usman Bugaje (Katsina) and former Deputy Governor of Niger State, Ahmed Ibeto.

Mamora was the deputy Director of Media of the Buhari Campaign Organisation in 2015 election.

He spoke on a popular television station last week that he was not desperate to get appointment from Buhari despite working tirelessly for his election.

Mamora is a medical doctor and politician.
