Nigeria May Play Germany, Brazil In World Cup
There are indications that the Super Eagles of Nigeria may play current FIFA World Cup Champions, Germany in Russia 2018.
This is according to the pot FIFA had put Nigeria as the world football governing body prepares to draw teams for the group stage.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria is in pot 4 alongside Japan, Serbia, Australia, Panama, Morocco, South Korea and Saudi Arabia.
In pot one, there are Russia, Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, Belgium, Poland and France.
In pot two, there are Spain, Peru, Switzerland, England, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay and Croatia.
In pot three, there are Denmark, Iceland, Costa Rica, Sweden, Tunisia, Egypt, Senegal and Iran.
The Super Eagles had recorded unbeaten run since they began the qualifier. The team also defeated two-time world champions Argentina in a friendly match in Russia two days ago.
Five teams will represent Africa and they include, Nigeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Senegal and Morocco.
