Nigeria/England: Victor Moses Arrives Super Eagles Camp In London
Chelsea player and Nigeria international, Victor Moses has joined the Super Eagles in camp as the team prepares to face the three lions in a pre-world cup friendly on Saturday.
Moses missed the last match against DR Congo in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Monday. He was permitted to stay away by the Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr.
On Wednesday, the team departed Nigeria for London, shortly after the players met with President Muhammadu Buhari and President of the Senate Bukola Saraki.
According to the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, the super eagles’ captain Mikel Obi and Odion Ighalo will be available to face England.
Five of the squad were dropped on Wednesday and as the coach put it, “One of the five, Moses Simeon will fly with the team to London for another scanning to see the extent of his injury. If he scales through the scanning, he might be added to the list.”
Meanwhile, Ighalo has said that the match against England would be a tough one. He said that he had played against almost all the players in the English team during his career with Watford Club of English premiership and could say that they were good.
He explains that though it is a friendly game, it is an opportunity to test the strength of both teams.
