NOVAK DJOKOVIC COMPLETES CAREER GRAND SLAM BY WINNING ROLAND GARROS

The world number one tennis player, Novak Djokovic had made history and broken some records as he becomes only the third man in the history of lawn tennis to hold all four grand slams concurrently.

He defeated Andy Murray in the finals of the French Open 3-6. 6-1, 6-2, 6-4 to pick the grand slam that has eluded him at the 12th time of asking.

He thereby joins a select roster of men who have held all four grand slams, Wimbledon, US open, Australian Open and French Open at the same time which include Don Budge in 1938 and Rod Laver, in 1962 and 1969.

The match looked like it would be going Murrays way at the opening after picking the first set 3-6, but Novak rallied and took the the next three sets with some sort of ease and in astonishing fashion to create history.

Congrats Novak.
