Oshiomhole’s Son to Run for House of Rep’s Position
Dr. Cyril Adams Oshiomhole, the son of former leader of Labour the immediate past governor of Edo state, Governor of Edo, Adams Oshiomhole, has just joined the race for the federal house of reps via the Etsako Federal constituency vacant seat.
His posters have been sighted in major parts of Auchi and other major communities in the constituency Etsako East, Central and West Local Government Areas.
They posters were also seen in some parts of the capital Benin City, in front of Denis Osadebe Government House and the state secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC), under which banner he plans to represent the people of his constituency.
Cyril, who is a medical doctor quotes the slogan, “Enough is Enough, “it is time for the New Generation” as a major and conspicuous part of the posters and fliers that have been seen around the city.
The vacancy in the Etsako Federal Constituency became available after the previous occupant, Mr Philip Shaibu was elected as Deputy Governor of the state leading the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Yakubu Dogara to declare the vacancy.
So far, with the inclusion of Dr. Cyril, the candidates vying for the position are a total of 6.
