Pastor ‘Oluwatobiloba Ipense’ Buries Lover ‘Raliat Sanni’ At The Altar
The Papalanto community of Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State was thrown into disarray on Tuesday when a team of armed policemen stormed a church to exhume a human body.
The State Commissioner of Police Ahmed Iliyasu who led the team and journalists to an Evangelical Church of God, Papalanto where the body of a woman, Raliat Sanni was exhumed from the altar.
The pastor of the church Oluwatobiloba Ipense had allegedly killed his lover, Raliat Sanni, for ritual purposes and buried her remains in a small room near the altar.
According to the police, the deceased was a mother of six and divorcee who happened to be the pastor’s lover until her death.
The police also arrested an accomplice of Ipense, Daniel Sopeju, who claimed to be a prophet in another white garment church.
According to the commissioner, one Adebola Saheed reported the case to the police about his missing sister who left home on March 21 and never returned.
“On the strength of the report, our operatives at the Ewekoro division, led by the Divisional Police Officer, Oluwarotimi Jeje, swung into action and embarked on technical intelligence investigation.”
Iliyasu said the suspect was arrested following a discreet analysis of facts surrounding the disappearance of the victim, as he was the last person that had contact with her.
