News just coming in has it that world record signing, Paul Pogba will be unable to play for Manchester United in their first match of the season due to a suspension.

This was made public by the Football Association today when they released a list of players who are carrying suspensions from last season.

The suspension Pogba is serving is one which he picked as a Juventus player during the Italian cup matches against Inter and AC Milan.

Considering the suspension was in Italy, it comes as a surprise that he has to serve the suspension under a different football association.

Manchester United coach, Jose Mourinho stated that he didn’t know that the suspension will be carried over from Italy to England.

Pogba is one of four other players who have been suspended for the first weekend of action in the premier league.

He will now be in line to make his debut for the Red Devils against Southampton at home on the 19th of August.
