Police Arrest Another Notorious Kidnapper ‘Aeron Muboh’ In Lagos
The Anti Kidnapping Squad of the Lagos State Police Command has arrested a notorious kidnapper, Aeron Muboh who has been terrorizing Lekki, Epe axis of the state.
While parading the kidnapper with some other suspected criminals at the command headquarters, Oduduwa Street, GRA, Ikeja on Wednesday, the state Police Commissioner, Emohimi Edgal said that the suspect was arrested at about 6 am on March 9, 2018, at Itokin village, in Epe.
He told journalists that the notorious kidnapper had earlier relocated from Edirin village to Itokin with members of his family when he got wind of the command’s move.
“He was arrested at Itokin,” the Commissioner of Police said.
According to findings, Muboh is a father of two, who resided at Edirin village in Epe. He has his hideout in the creeks at Milajonye area of Epe, where he keeps his victims for ransom.
He has his gangs and they move in the night in the car to break into homes and abduct residents for ransom.
“Most of his victims are usually residents, whose houses are situated close to the river. They have kidnapped a retired banker, Mr Adebola Ogunyemi twice. The man has packed out of his home now,” investigation revealed.
Speaking to journalists, the suspect said that he only involved in the payment of ransom and that the real kidnappers were his gangs.
