SAM ALLARDYCE IN TALKS TO BE THE NEXT MANAGER OF ENGLAND

The English Football association is reportedly in talks with Sam Allardyce to take over as the coach of the National team.

To that effect, his current club, Sunderland, has given Allardyce permission to speak with the F.A. concerning the vacant post.

The English national team has been without a coach as Hodgson quit immediately England was eliminated from the Euro’s in a shameful manner by football minnows Iceland.

Hodgson’s contract was supposed to end this month so whichever way he definitely would not have been retained as the manager.

A three man team made up of David Gill, FA technical director Dan Ashworth and chief executive Martin Glenn have been set up by the F.A. to pick a new manager and it is believed that out of the shortlist, Allardyce is the favorite to get the job.

Allardyce who is currently managing Sunderland has been the manager of West Ham, Newcastle, Bolton and Blackburn.
