Senator Sani Advises FG on The Use of Drones To Curb Bandits
The killings and kidnappings in Zamfara & Birnin Gwari axis have reached such a hopeless level now, that even Government functionaries & security & defence personals have joined the victims in praying for a divine intervention.
The senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani said this while reacting to thhe spate of killings in the state.
He lamented that bandits had taken over the state and made it unsafe for innocent residents but with little effort to combat the killings by the Federal Government.
Sani took to its twitter handle on Monday calling on the Federal and State Government to employ modern technology to fight the hoodlums in Kaduna and some other parts of the country.
According to him, the government must begin to use drones to locate the hideouts of the criminals instead of the stop and search method the law enforcement use in the state.
As he put it, “The President must facilitate the use of drones by our security and defence forces to combat the activities of violent bandits in the vast forests of Zamfara and Birnin Gwari axis; the current strategy of opening car boots at checkpoints will change nothing.”
