The European Championship has gotten to day 9 and it is really becoming a tournament for the so called minnows.

Upsets are common place so far and today saw a little bit of that.

The first match saw Belgium regain their bragging rights as the highest ranked FIFA team in the tournament when they demolished Ireland by 3 unreplied goals.

Lukaku finally showed some of his class that makes him one of the most fared forwards in the English premiership with a brace and even Hazard got on the act by giving an assist.

Alex Wisel scored in between Lukaku’s goal to deliver a thumping victory to the Red Devils.

The second match saw tournament minnows Iceland draw a second match against the more fancied Hungarians. The small country of just 330,000 people is really giving it their best at this tournament.

The match of the day saw Portugal draw in a goalless match with Austria in which Cristiano missed a penalty and had a goal correctly disallowed for offside.
