Suicide Bombers Kill Two Soldiers In Fresh Borno Attack

The Borno State Police Command has confirmed that two soldiers killed in a suicide attack in Borno on Thursday.

The State police spokesman, Victor Isuku said that the attack occurred at the military checkpoint in Konduga, Borno State.

According to the police, a female bomber approached a military checkpoint where she detonated the bomb right in front of an Internally Displaced Persons camp in Borno.

As a matter of fact, the lady lost her life and that of two others soldiers who were at the check point as at the time of the attack.

He said the scene of the crime was visited by team of EOD of the police.

Though normalcy had returned to the place, Isuku advised residents to be more vigilant now that most suicide bombers now disguise as members of the society.

Late yesterday, another Chibok Schoolgirl seized by Boko Haram escaped from the camp of the insurgents.

The Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina confirmed the escape.
