Why Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo Is Angry – Presidency
The presidency on Thursday said that ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo is angry because he could not do what President Muhammadu Buhari is doing currently.
The Special Assistant to the President on social media Lauretta Onochie said that Obasanjo is always angry at whosoever that is trying to surpass his performance, adding that the electricity the former president could not fix in eight years had improved within two years of Buhari’s government.
This is coming, following the taunt by Buhari that Obasanjo failed to address the problem in the power sector despite spending $16 billion during his administration.
However, Obasanjo swiftly responded that he was ready for a probe, as he directed Buhari to read his book “My Watch”, pages 41, 42. 43 and 47 where issues about $16 billion power project were explained in detail.
Onochie said Obasanjo was representing some former military generals to work against the government who had been fighting corruption.
“They don’t want that. Obasanjo has failed to answer a simple question posed by President Buhari who inherited a nation in darkness,” Onochied said.
