You Keep Chibok Girls, Sheriff Accuses Shettima
Former Governor of Borno State, Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff, has accused his successor, Kashim Shettima of keeping the Chibok girls.
He said this in a statement signed by his media aide, Adams Kolo, alleging Shettima as the father of Boko Haram insurgents in Northeastern Nigeria.
Modu-Sheriff who was booted out as the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party by the Supreme Court absolved former President Goodluck Jonathan of complicity in the abduction of the girls, saying that Shettima caused it all.
He noted that as at today Shettima could not move freely in the streets of Borno despite that he is the governor while he (Modu-Sheriff) could move freely.
Shettima had recently taken a swipe at ex-President President for surrounding himself with religious bigots and tribal warlords who made him believe that the Chibok girls’ abduction was a hoax.
Shettima stated that he was not invited to Abuja until after three weeks that the Chibok girls had been abducted despite that he made so much noise about it.
Eventually, after he was invited alongside the state Commissioner of Police and the Principal of the school, President Jonathan did not still believe that the girls were actually kidnapped.
